Car Insurance Plymouth (Car Insurance). How do I register my 50CC Vespa in California? How do I register my 50CC Vespa in California? I'm about to buy a Vespa 50CC, and it is unregistered...I don't have an M1 License yet either and am under 18, but after purchasing it I will go through the process of that. Also do I need insurance for my Vespa! Thanks! Hmmmmm, nice ride. Just like with any other vehicle. Go to the DMV and start filling out forms If your Vespa has never been registered before expect problems......expensive problems. If it has been registered, but the fees haven't been paid for as while that won't be so expensive, and can usually be resolved. Good Luck. Auto parts : Paint Brush Acura 1995 . Plymouth . How to Set the Timing for a 383 MoparThe Mopar 383 engine was available on the Chrysler Windsor and Saratoga in 1959 and 1960. It engine was also installed in other Chrysler vehicles from 1960 to 1971. Mopar stands for the Motor Parts division of Chrysler. The engines are often used for racing cars and are generally performance-oriented. You should regularly check the ignition timing of your classic Mopar engine to keep it from burning out or becoming obsolete. The Mopar 383 has a normal ignition timing of 10 degrees before top dead center (BTDC) but you can adjust the timing to your preference. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Timing light Wrench Wheel chocksSet the Timing Step by Step : 1 Park the vehicle in an area away from traffic. Turn off the engine and all accessories and equipment. 2 Put the transmission in neutral and apply the emergency brake. Chock the wheels. Start the engine and allow it to warm, reaching an idle speed of 450 rpm. 3 Make sure the emergency brake is firmly engaged before you exit the car and open the hood. 4 Connect the timing light's red clip to the positive terminal of the battery before you connect the black clip to the negative terminal. Connect the timing light to the number one spark plug and main crankshaft pulley. 5 Shine the timing light on the crankshaft pulley and the cylinder head. Observe where the timing mark falls by looking at the main crankshaft pulley. If the ignition timing is set to an ideal ignition timing, remove the timing light, close the hood and turn off the engine. If it is not, go on to the next step. 6 Find the distributor lock-down bolt, which is usually located at the base of the distributor housing. Loosen the bolt with a wrench and disconnect the distributor vacuum hose from the distributor housing. You can now adjust the ignition timing. 7 Rotate the distributor by hand until the timing mark on the main crankshaft pulley falls into the timing level you want. Ten degrees BTDC is recommended. You should not deviate too far from this or you will risk damaging the engine. 8 Connect the distributor vacuum hose to the distributor housing and tighten the lock-down bolt. Remove all of the timing light connections and close the hood.
Plymouth . How to Time an Engine for an 87 Toyota CamryThe Toyota Camry and its engines have been praised for their durability and long life. You can enjoy your 1987 Toyota Camry for many years and miles if you keep up with the basic maintenance needs of the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The ignition timing determines when the spark will start the internal combustion engine. You can adjust the engine's timing with a few tools and basic mechanical skills. The factory recommended ignition timing is 10 degrees before top dead center (BTDC). Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Timing light Wrench Wheel Chocks Step by Step : 1 Park your car in an area where you can work on the engine and turn your Camry on. Turn off your all accessories, including the radio and air conditioning or heat. 2 Exit the car and use wheel chocks to chock the wheels of your car. Enter your car and put the transmission in neutral with the emergency brake engaged. Gradually take the engine to an idle speed of 700 rpm. 3 Exit the vehicle and open the hood of your Toyota Camry. 4 Connect the timing light to the Toyota Camry's battery by placing the red clip on the positive terminal, then the black clip to the negative terminal. Connect the other timing light components to the number 1 spark plug wire and shine the light on the timing index section of the pulley to check the ignition timing. 5 Observe where the timing mark on the pulley appears compared to the degree tab on the front of the engine. You can remove the timing light components, wheel chocks and bring your car back to its normal state if you are satisfied with the current ignition timing. 6 Locate the distributor lock-down bolt at the base of the distributor housing. Use a wrench to loosen the lock-down bolt and disconnect the distributor vacuum hose from the distributor housing. You can now adjust the ignition timing safely. 7 Use your hand to rotate the distributor until the timing mark on the pulley aligns with desired ignition timing index. The factory recommendation is 10 degrees BTDC, so do not drift too far from that. 8 Reconnect the distributor vacuum hose to the distributor housing and tighten the lock-down bolt after you set the ignition time. Remove the timing light from the battery and spark plug wire closing the hood of your car. Remove the wheel chocks. *flag and get help. If it's a very hot day and you've been driving in stop-and-go traffic, you may have vapor lock. Occasionally, a vehicle gets so hot that the gasoline boils in the fuel line and forms bubbles that keep the fuel from getting to the fuel injectors or carburetor. The symptoms are easy to spot: Your engine just suddenly stops running, with no prior warning. Happily, the remedy isn't difficult: Simply open the hood, wrap a wet rag around the fuel line between the fuel pump and the fuel injectors or carburetor, and wait for things to cool down. 953

The pressure in the overheated system can cause hot liquid to spray out and burn you. If you don't have a wet rag, wrap aluminum foil around the fuel line and leave it in place after you get started. No aluminum foil? Then just sit there and wait for the darn thing to cool down. Eventually, the vapor lock will go away. If neither of the above seems to be the case, try the following set of steps that applies to your vehicle. Plymouth . Do you have to pay if you do not claim a repossed vehicle?

C Part IV: Dealing with On-the-Road Emergencies. For i/ehictes ufith carburetors 1. Look down the carburetor barrel and push the accelerator pump arm. Is fuel squirting into the venturi? If so, then the float bowl is full, but it still may not be getting a fresh supply of fuel when it needs it. 2. Disconnect the fuel pump end of the hose that leads from the carburetor to the fuel pump (see Figure 21-2) and place the end of the hose in ajar or plastic bag. If you don't have anything to put the hose in, forget this entire procedure. Never let gasoline run onto the ground. It's flammable and toxic to the environment. Also, be sure not to let gasoline run out of the hose onto your clothes or the engine. And if it's very hot, fan the area to disburse the fumes. Somewhere along that line is the fuel filter. The filter could have jammed — especially if it hasn't been changed in ages. Plymouth . How fast is the Buggati Veyron?

Bump the starter and see whether gasoline squirts out of the hose. If it does, then your fuel filter and fuel pump are probably all right. If nothing comes out of the hose, you probably have either a plugged fuel filter, a defective fuel pump, or a broken fuel line — or you're out of gas. 4. Try to eliminate the fuel filter as the villain by removing it (Chapter 13 tells you how) to see whether gas comes out of the hose. If you changed the filter recently, ignore this step and look under the rear end of the car to see whether fuel is leaking from a broken fuel line. .Chapter 21: What to Do If Your Car Drops Dead or Won't Start Fire If your engine is getting enough air and fuel, you're probably having ignition system trouble. As I explain in Chapter 4, the "fire" is really electric current that's stored in the battery, replaced by the alternator, amplified by the coil and, in some vehicles, directed by a distributor to each spark plug. (Newer vehicles have distributorless ignition systems — Chapter 5 has the details.) If something along the way goes wrong and the spark fails to reach the plugs, all the air and fuel in the world won't produce combustion in the cylinders, and the vehicle won't go. Because the engine was running before it died, it's probably not the fault of the battery, solenoid, or starter, which brings you to the distributor cap — assuming that your vehicle has one. If you have a distributorless system, you'll need professional help to check it out. Checking the distributor cap Plymouth . What is a yellow flag in racing considered?
